We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system projects throughout the Seattle region. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with deep technical knowledge, strong financial acumen, and the ability to drive success across high-value commercial projects. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Execution

  • Manage all phases of mechanical construction projects from scope development through final closeout.

  • Forecast and oversee labor, materials, and cost-saving opportunities to ensure budget and project goals are met.

  • Coordinate installation sequencing and field execution in collaboration with field supervisors and operations teams.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact throughout project duration.

  • Represent the company in client meetings, progress updates, and networking events to support business development.

  • Provide guidance to subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment and quality outcomes.

Contract & Financial Oversight

  • Handle all aspects of contract administration including terms review, change order processing, and compliance tracking.

  • Collaborate with accounting to manage project financials including cash flow, cost tracking, and accurate billing.

  • Prepare and review proposals, contracts, RFIs, and client communications to protect company interests and uphold standards.

Internal Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Facilitate preconstruction meetings to align cross-functional teams on scope, milestones, and resource needs.

  • Act as a liaison between Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Field Operations, and Service departments.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to elevate efficiency, consistency, and profitability across projects.

Team Development & Mentorship

  • Mentor and support junior project team members, promoting knowledge-sharing and professional growth.

  • Participate in company initiatives and innovation efforts to support long-term departmental and company goals.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field ().

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years managing mechanical construction projects (HVAC, plumbing, or piping).

  • Experience with commercial projects valued from $50,000 to $25 million+.

  • Proven success in estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and business development.

Skills:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management software.

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Bid Tracer ().
