Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor-Consultancy-Fit Out
SLH Consult are partnering our client an international cost consultancy who are looking to appoint a Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor with constancy/client side experience.
The ideal candidate will have evolved from or currently working as a Quantity Surveyor have Pre-contract experience within the hospitality and fit-out sectors, a detailed understanding of statutory authorities, processes, and time frames for approvals; strong client-facing/presenting/leading meetings. Requirements to travel to sites both South and North of England.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Management or Construction Project Management or a related field
* At least 5+ years of experience in project and cost management, with at least Min. 2 yrs. experience as PMC/front-end.
* Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
* Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
* Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
* Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g. Bluebeam, CostX, or similar) and familiar with industry standards and practices
* Must have experience with pre-contract high level cost planning through BQ production together with post-contract commercial activities. Experience with measurement for BQ production under POMI, CESMM 3 and 4 and NRM is .
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong ethical standards and commitment to professional excellence.
