Project Manager \n Location: Reading (Hybrid)\n Day Rate: Negotiable \n Availability: ASAP \n\n My client is the air transport industry's IT provider, delivering solutions for airlines, airports, aircraft, and governments. Their technology powers more seamless, safe, and sustainable air travel. \n They are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to support projects focused on software development and AI topics.
\n\n We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a series of software development and AI-driven initiatives for a global technology organisation within the aviation sector. \n This is a 6-month contract position, based in Barcelona OR Reading, offering the opportunity to work on innovative, large-scale technology projects with international impact. \n\n Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of software development projects with a focus on AI and emerging technologies.
\n• Collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams (software engineers, data scientists, and product stakeholders) to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within scope. \n• Define project plans, manage budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies. \n• Drive alignment between technical objectives and business strategy, ensuring successful outcomes for all projects.
\n• Monitor project performance and implement continuous improvement processes where needed. \n\n Proven experience as a Project Manager within software development or technology environments. \n• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum/DevOps).
\n• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. \n• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in complex, fastpaced environments. \n• A genuine interest in artificial intelligence and its application within technology solutions.
\n\n Previous experience in the aviation, travel, or transport sectors. \n• Exposure to cloud-based or data-driven projects (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications.
