Job Title: Project Manager / Project Architect (Hybrid)

Location: Chesapeake, VA

Representing an award winning multi-discipline architecture firm with multiple offices throughout Virgina, D.C., and Maryland. We offer expertise on an extensive and diverse project types. It is not required, but K-12 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop architectural designs and creative concepts tailored to project goals.
• Prepare and refine project documentation across all architectural phases, including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, sections, and details.
• Collaborate with consultants to coordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) for design integration.
• Adapt designs to accommodate evolving client needs.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the implementation of design adjustments, working closely with contractors and construction teams.
• Attend and contribute to project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Architeture License.
• 7+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of all phases of architectural documentation.
• Skilled in space planning, program coordination, and developing adjacency diagrams.
• Demonstrated ability to review work for accuracy and manage time to meet project budgets and schedules.
• Effective team collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Strong project management and communication capabilities.
• Knowledgeable in accessibility standards and building codes.
• Familiarity with building construction systems.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
