Project Manager – Marine Civil Engineering\nDevon | Permanent\nCompetitive Salary + Car Allowance + Benefits\n\nA leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team in Devon, delivering a range of complex marine and coastal infrastructure projects.\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the South West, working on technically challenging schemes within marine, coastal defence, harbour, waterfront and heavy civil engineering environments.\n\nAs Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the safe, profitable and successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion, leading site teams, managing subcontractors and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead the delivery of marine and civil engineering projects from inception through to completion.\nManage project programmes, resources and budgets to ensure successful delivery.\nOversee Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors.\nEnsure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.\nMaintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and supply chain partners.\nManage NEC contracts, compensation events and commercial reporting alongside the commercial team.\nDrive programme performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and project outcomes.\nProduce and review RAMS, construction methodologies and project documentation.\nAttend client and progress meetings and provide regular project updates.\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience operating as a Project Manager within marine, coastal or heavy civil engineering environments.\nStrong understanding of marine construction methodologies.\nExperience managing projects involving harbours, jetties, quay walls, coastal defence, dredging, marine structures or waterfront infrastructure.\nGood working knowledge of NEC contracts.\nStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills.\nSMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.\nHNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline .\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\nLong-term career prospects with a growing contractor.\nDiverse and technically challenging marine projects.\nOpportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure schemes across the South West.\nSupportive and collaborative working environment.\n\nTo apply or find out more, please contact Laura at RGB
