Project Manager | Norton Shores, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for manufacturing initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, production, quality, and supply chain.
• Manage project scope, risks, and changes, ensuring adherence to manufacturing specifications and timelines.
• Monitor project progress, resource allocation, and budget performance, reporting regularly to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality regulations, and company policies throughout project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts for manufacturing processes and project management methodologies.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and external vendors/suppliers.

Recommended Qualifications

• PMP certification or demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
• Proven experience managing complex projects within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality assurance principles.
• Proficiency with project management software and relevant ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MES).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional team management skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or PLM systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial).
• Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
