Position Overview:

Bear Construction, LLC is looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for managing project budgets, maintaining project files, creating detailed schedules, ordering and scheduling materials, reading and interpreting plans, and communicating with clients and engineers. Your attention to detail, willingness to learn, and passion for the construction industry will set you up for success. Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Job scheduling, coordination, and execution including purchase orders, permits, etc.
• Monitor progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Conduct site visits to ensure quality standards and safety compliance
• Identify potential risks, recognize trends, and implement system changes to mitigate them
• Resolve project-related issues or conflicts promptly
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
• Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns
• Review completed project summaries with company leadership

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED 
• 5+ years of experience in project management in underground utilities and civil site development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent math skills
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• A valid driver's license
• High standards of honesty, integrity, and commitment to producing a quality work product

Requirements/Skills:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• Working knowledge of computer-aided project management software
• Ability to read and interpret site plans
