The Role
As Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, site teams, and subcontractors, overseeing every aspect of project execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage full project lifecycle including planning, design, scheduling, and delivery
* Monitor and maintain project timelines and budgets
* Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project success
* Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements
* Conduct regular site visits and oversee progress on the ground
* Lead contract negotiations and manage subcontractor relationships
* Maintain accurate project records and reporting for stakeholders
* Support recruitment, training, and management of project staff as needed
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a construction project management role
* Multi-sector experience (civils, commercial, residential, industrial, education)
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Excellent communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and UK regulations
* Proficient with project management software and Microsoft Office
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight on-site as required
