Summary / Objective

The Project Manager is responsible for successfully delivering projects in alignment with safety, budget, quality, and schedule objectives. This role evaluates project scope, prepares accurate proposals and budgets, and develops execution plans to ensure profitability and client satisfaction. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact and coordinates all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all phases of assigned projects to ensure timely and on-budget completion
  • Prepare, review, and submit project proposals, estimates, drawings, and specifications
  • Determine timelines, resource allocation, staffing, and project procedures
  • Obtain necessary permits (building, erosion control, dewatering, etc.)
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support business growth
  • Manage project scope changes, including cost estimates and pricing adjustments
  • Collaborate with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, architects, and clients
  • Provide regular updates and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
  • Assist in resolving disputes with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Prepare project reports and participate in project and construction meetings
  • Review and approve invoices, submit pay applications, and manage job cost adjustments
  • Issue subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders
  • Conduct quarterly job performance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Project Management certification
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in construction project management or related roles

Key Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and building codes
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Leadership skills with experience mentoring or developing junior team members
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
