Job DescriptionJob Description

At Maxim Restoration, we specialize in helping homeowners recover after unexpected property damage. From water, fire, and mold remediation to full reconstruction, we restore spaces—and support every step of the recovery process. Our mission is simple: with integrity, excellence, and care, we deliver peace of mind when it matters most.

Our work is guided by five core values:

  • Mastery – We take pride in our craftsmanship and continually strive for excellence.
  • Accountability – We own our actions, communicate honestly, and follow through.
  • Xcellence – We go above and beyond in every job, every detail, every time.
  • Integrity – We do what’s right—for our clients, teammates, and community.
  • Mindset of Service – We lead with care, urgency, and respect in everything we do.

We’re seeking a Project Manager who leads with organization, trust, and integrity—owning projects from start to finish while delivering exceptional results for homeowners and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage residential (and occasional commercial) reconstruction projects end-to-end—from kickoff through punch list and final walkthrough.
  • Build and maintain realistic project schedules, track critical paths, and keep work moving with minimal downtime.
  • Own project budgets: track costs, manage material selection and purchasing, forecast variances, and drive profitable outcomes.
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors and vendors—set expectations, hold teams accountable, and resolve conflicts quickly.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with homeowners, tenants, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal team members regarding timelines, change orders, costs, and expectations.
  • Manage change orders, purchase orders, and invoicing with speed and accuracy.
  • Conduct quality and safety walks; document progress with photos, notes, and punch lists.
  • Collaborate closely with Estimating and Field Adjusters to transition scopes, develop change-order solutions, prepare supplements/comparative estimates, and close gaps early.

Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of project management experience in residential construction (mixed residential/commercial experience is a plus).
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget while maintaining strong client relationships and reliable subcontractor partnerships.
  • Strong planning, sequencing, and problem-solving skills; decisive under pressure.
  • Clear, professional communicator—comfortable working with clients, subcontractors, and leadership.
  • Tech-savvy (Xactimate, DASH, spreadsheets, cloud-based documentation).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the Phoenix metro area; capable of walking and inspecting active job sites.

Benefits

  • Autonomy with support: competitive compensation plus systems designed to help you succeed.
  • Family-oriented, service-first culture with leadership that truly supports you.
  • Performance bonuses tied to results.
  • Paid training and ongoing professional development.
  • Work-life balance with reasonable schedules and a team that respects family time.

Pay & Details

  • Salary: $65,000–$80,000 base (based on experience) + performance bonuses
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Location: Mesa home office with travel throughout the Phoenix metro area
