The ideal Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency

with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and implement projects while managing project staff and deadlines.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks/activities, resource requirements and timeline.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and manage project budget
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff.
  • Manage project resource allocation.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
  • Provide direction and support to project team.
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all.
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Qualification in Construction project management (PM)
  • Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of PM and Marine Construction
  • Knowledge of PM techniques and tools
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, MS Project and PM Software

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in construction management or experience equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in this or related position

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 40 pounds at a time
  • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.
  • Exposure to characteristic construction and marine site dangers
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Operating machinery and/or power tools.
  • Work in extreme weather conditions
  • Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
  • Able to traverse all areas of the jobsite in all types of weather; this may require walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
