Role Description - Renewable Energy Project Manager
\n

This is a full-time role in SolBid's Lowell, MA office, for a Project Manager. You’ll work with clients across industries. You’ll manage commercial and industrial solar project delivery — keeping schedules tight, communication crisp, stakeholders aligned, and details from slipping through the cracks. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership seat. The work you do will be seen directly by executives at some of the largest companies in the world.

What You’ll Do
\n
\n
- \n
- Support project delivery end-to-end for client engagements — from kickoff through closeout.
- Own the operating cadence: agendas, meeting notes, action items, status reports, and the follow-ups that keep work moving.
- Maintain and track scope, schedule, budget, and risks in our project tools — and flag issues before they become problems.
- Project-based job accounting management (Purchase Order, Bill, Invoice, Change Order)
- Support project document setup, document control, and project closeout
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (internal and client-side) to make sure every workstream lands its commitments.
- Assist with utility interconnection applications, incentive applications, and related documentation.
- Coordinate project related activities with the customer, contractor, vendor, utility, and engineering
- Be the trusted voice as a credible point of contact for client teams.
- Assist projects in transitioning from project delivery to post-closeout operations and management (O&M).
- Research and maintain information related to utility requirements, incentive programs, permitting requirements, and project process requirements.
- Perform project kickoff technical review, due diligence and report creation.
- Continuously improve how we work — templates, playbooks, and processes that scale across a growing portfolio.

- Highly responsive and can communicate with clients quickly, accurately, and professionally, ensuring that questions, requests, and project updates are handled with urgency, clarity, and attention to detail.
