This company is a high-growth manufacturer based in Louisa, Virginia, specializing in sheet metal fabrication, welding, machining, coatings, and the design and build of turnkey mechanical systems. In addition to full system integration and production, we also design custom equipment and collaborate with customers to refine and optimize their product designs. Our capabilities include UL 508A industrial control panels and electrical assemblies as part of broader engineered solutions.
Our capabilities are organized into five strategic verticals: Engineered Plant Equipment, OEM Equipment,
Data Infrastructure, Defense; Secure Facility Components, Exhaust Systems, and Contract
Manufacturing.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee the end-to-end execution of manufacturing and installation projects. Manage project budgets,
timelines, vendors, and quality standards while coordinating closely with clients, estimating; engineering
design teams, and shop floor/field installation crews.
Daily Tasks:
Project Planning; Execution: Direct commercial or industrial metal fabrication projects from the initial
kickoff and estimating phases through final project closure.
Budget; Financial Management: Review job estimates, prepare project budgets, track labor and
material costs, forecast production hours, and partner with management to negotiate contract changes.
Procurement; Inventory: Ensure timely procurement and delivery of raw materials and hardware
necessary for fabrication.
Production Oversight: Collaborate with production floor management and field services to align
fabrication timelines with installation sequence.
Quality; Safety: Ensure all fabricated components meet code requirements, engineering tolerances,
and internal safety standards.
Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for client, providing status updates, and managing
project meetings.
What You Bring:
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of metal fabrication manufacturing processes, including laser
cutting, punching, forming, welding and assembly.
Technical Software: Familiarity with reading mechanical blueprints and utilizing AutoCAD and ERP/MRP
systems.
Strong Communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skill.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience or high school diploma with a minimum of
10 years’ experience.
