Project Manager – Remediation Contractor\n\nLocation: UK-wide (flexible, with travel to sites)\n\nSalary: £60,000 to £65,000 per annum\n\nPackage: Car allowance/company car, annual bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (plus service increases), pension, flexible working, and full company benefits\n\nSector: Remediation, Enabling Works, Demolition, Environmental Services\n\nOverview\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading specialist enabling works contractor delivering remediation, demolition, and environmental services across the UK.\n\nThis role involves full lifecycle project management, including client engagement, project scoping, commercial oversight, and delivery of complex remediation and enabling works schemes. You will play a key role in supporting business growth, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.\n\nWorking closely with senior leadership, you will contribute to strategic objectives while leading operational delivery across a range of technically challenging projects.\n\nOperations and Services\n\nThe company is a recognised specialist contractor operating across multiple enabling disciplines, delivering projects ranging from domestic works through to multi-million-pound regeneration schemes.\n\nCore services include:\n\nLand remediation and contaminated ground treatment\n\t\nDemolition and site clearance\n\t\nAsbestos removal and hazardous material management\n\t\nPassive fire protection\n\t\nEnabling works packages across public and private sectors\n\t\nIntegrated project delivery across multiple specialist disciplines\n\nOperations are supported by a nationwide network of offices and delivery teams, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and environmental compliance.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage full lifecycle delivery of remediation and enabling works projects\n\t\nDevelop and maintain strong client relationships in line with business strategy\n\t\nScope, price, and tender remediation works\n\t\nLead project planning, programming, and resource allocation\n\t\nOversee health & safety planning and ensure compliance with legislation\n\t\nManage project budgets, WIP, invoicing, and financial performance\n\t\nCoordinate site teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders\n\t\nMonitor project progress and ensure delivery against programme and objectives\n\t\nMaintain quality standards and customer satisfaction\n\t\nSupport audits and ensure adherence to internal and external compliance standards\n\t\nLiaise with corporate HSEQ teams and senior management\n\nRequirements\n\nEssential\n\nProven experience delivering remediation or enabling works projects\n\t\nStrong understanding of ground engineering, contaminated land, and civil works\n\t\nExperience in project costing, budgeting, and financial management\n\t\nKnowledge of construction contracts and project delivery frameworks\n\t\nStrong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills\n\t\nFull UK driving licence\n\t\nCSCS (Site Manager) Card\n\nDesirable\n\nDegree in environmental, civil engineering, or related discipline\n\t\nProfessional accreditation (e.g. APM, PRINCE2)\n\t\nExperience with temporary works design or coordination\n\t\nKnowledge of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks\n\nSalary and Package\n\nBase salary: £60,000 to £65,000 (depending on experience)\n\t\nCar allowance / company car\n\t\nBonus: Annual performance-related bonus\n\t\nHolidays: 25 days + bank holidays (plus additional service-related days)\n\t\nPension: Company pension scheme\n\t\nFlexible working: Flexible start/finish times\n\t\nAdditional benefits:\n\nAnnual pay review\n\t\t\nTraining and development plans\n\t\t\nCareer progression opportunities\n\t\t\nEmployee assistance programme and wellbeing support\n\nHow to Apply\n\nApply now with your CV or contact Brian Mbatha for a confidential discussion
