Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the Insurance domain to lead end-to-end delivery of technology and business transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing cross-functional teams, engaging business stakeholders, driving project execution, and delivering high-quality solutions within scope, budget, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Lead multiple concurrent projects across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

\n

• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.

\n

• Manage project governance, risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes.

\n

• Coordinate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, architects, and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

\n

• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, status meetings, and executive steering committee meetings.

\n

• Monitor project progress using project management tools and provide regular status reports to leadership.

\n

• Drive stakeholder communication and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.

\n

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, compliance requirements, and organizational delivery processes.

\n

• Identify dependencies, proactively mitigate risks, and resolve project blockers.

\n

• Support release planning, production deployments, and post-implementation reviews.

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

\n

• 8+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years as a Project Manager delivering enterprise technology projects.

\n

• Strong experience working within the Insurance industry

\n

• Proven experience managing application development, modernization, system integration, or digital transformation projects.

\n

• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies.

\n

• Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

\n

• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

\n

• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.

\n

• Familiarity with insurance business processes including:

• Underwriting

• Customer Portals

\n

• Experience working on cloud transformation initiatives (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Knowledge of API integrations, data migration, and enterprise integration projects.

\n

• PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe certification is .
