Project Manager with Investment Management experience, London

Job Description

Leading investment management firm, is seeking an experienced I.T. project manager with current investment management experience to join their London Office. Our client operates a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office, and 2 days from home

This individual will be responsible for leading various activities along the strategic project life cycle including scoping, planning/design, execution, testing, delivery and closing. The candidate will need to oversee the successful delivery of strategic digital platforms, system implementations, and process improvements.

Primary Responsibilities

• • Assists the business with defining the scope and milestones of projects to ensure timely delivery.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

Team Leadership

• • Lead cross-functional teams, including fund accountants, technology teams, and compliance staff.
  • Provide clear direction and resolve conflicts to keep the project on track.
  • Foster collaboration and accountability among team members.

Qualifications And Experience

• • Three/Four-year college/university degree in accounting, finance or related business field or equivalent.
  • Strong project management experience including Agile software delivery
  • PMP Certification ( not essential) or other industry qualification.
