Summary
We are seeking a Project Manager with strong industrial construction project management experience. This role will lead the execution of complex process-facility projects, including the design and construction of new manufacturing plants, facility upgrades, and rehabilitation of high-hazard environments. The Project Manager will work closely with engineers and construction professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in industrial facility construction
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to gain team support
- Knowledge of all construction phases from Pre-Construction through Commissioning
- Prior experience in a design-build environment
- Chemical process or pharmaceutical project background highly desirable
- Ability to work independently within a matrix organization
- Minimal travel required
Responsibilities
- Oversee profitable execution of large and small construction projects
- Serve as the primary client contact and build strong client relationships
- Manage all aspects of project delivery: cost control, scheduling, contracts, change orders, quality, and cash management
- Estimate fees, determine scope of work, and prepare proposals/contracts
- Actively manage client budgets, schedules, and communications
- Coordinate internal team efforts and review deliverables
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction
- Identify and pursue additional business opportunities with existing clients
- Lead work planning activities, profitability analysis, and align with leadership goals
