We are currently looking for a Project Manager to support substation and line projects as well as construction support services in the electric utility industry. The position requires a strong interest in power systems and electric utilities.

WHAT WINNING LOOKS LIKE:

  • Independently manage projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring delivery on schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Serve as primary client contact, coordinating with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Track project progress, risks, and issues; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and deliverables.
  • Mentor Assistant Project Managers and project support staff on tools, standards, and best practices.
  • Contribute to process improvements and technical initiatives.
  • Continue preparing for advanced certifications and leadership roles.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in engineering, engineering management, construction management, business or equivalent is strongly .
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as Project Manager in the electric utility sector required.
  • PMP/CAPM or in progress.
  • Proficiency with project workflow and scheduling.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management tools and processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization in a team environment.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel, up to 10%
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain the reporting and working relationships
  • Software experience: MS Office, & MS Project
