Project Manager - Hybrid

This is a hybrid role requiring both remote administrative work and regular travel to job sites. Project Managers are expected to be on-site as needed to oversee field operations, conduct inspections, and manage deployment activities. Candidates must be flexible, field-ready, and committed to maintaining strong oversight of both in-office and on-site project execution.

Financial ManagementDevelop budgets, forecasts, and daily/weekly cost tracking Planning & SchedulingBuild and manage project schedules with field teams, align procurement with project timelines, Define and track key milestonesSubcontractor & Vendor OversightReview bids and manage subcontractor performance, ensure timelines, quality, and budget compliance, Use of subs must be pre-approved by leadershipClient & Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary client contact, Lead project meetings and manage expectations, ensure internal teams understand project scope Team LeadershipCoordinate staffing with superintendents, Mentor Assistant PMs and support hiring with HRContract AdministrationManage change orders, RFIs, and submittals, Maintain full contract compliance Risk ManagementProactively identify and mitigate risks, Escalate major issues and document thoroughly Safety & Quality OversightEnforce safety protocols and QA standards, Address field issues promptlyDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain up-to-date project records (ISO-compliant)

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in telecom, fiber, or underground utility construction

  • In-depth knowledge of HDD, OSP, ISP, plowing, and trenching

  • Proven financial acumen and leadership experience

  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience leading teams in dynamic, field-based environments
