Project Manager – £5M Groundworks Package – Worcester Park, London

Location: Worcester Park, London

Rate: Competitive (CIS or Ltd)

Duration: 18 months (2 phases)

Start Date: Immediate



We are currently recruiting for an experienced project manager to oversee a major £5 million groundworks package in Worcester Park, London. The project spans 18 months over two phases, and we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running.



Role overview:

This is a great opportunity for a senior engineer looking to step into a project management role, or for someone already operating at that level who enjoys being hands-on. The ideal candidate will be confident managing both the technical and operational aspects of the site while maintaining strong communication with the client.



Key responsibilities:

Deliver a complex groundworks package to programme and budget



*



Manage site operations across both phases of the project



*



Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and suppliers



*



Ensure HSEQ standards are met at all times



*



Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and stakeholders



*



Provide regular reporting and updates using appropriate software



Ideal candidate:



*



Background as a senior engineer with experience in project management



*



Experience delivering groundworks or civil engineering packages



*



Computer literate – proficient in MS Project, Excel and other relevant tools



*



Able to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple teams



*



Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills



*



Comfortable in a client-facing role



Qualifications:



*



Degree or HNC in civil engineering ()



*



SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential)
