MES is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Project Manager to lead complex utility projects from initiation through closeout. This role will The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams, clients, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure that scope, schedule, and budget expectations are met or exceeded.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of project management: planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project execution
- Track and manage project budgets, schedules, and risks
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
- Prepare status reports, forecasts, and presentations for clients and leadership
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and industry standards
- Mentor and support project team members including coordinators and field staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or General Business
- 5+ years of project management and utility experience
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
