This role involves managing all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction estimating to project completion, including budgeting and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimating:
  1. Preparing cost estimates for projects by analyzing plans, specifications, and related documents.
  2. Performing quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
  3. Developing project budgets and proposals.
  4. Negotiating with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Project Management:
  1. Planning and managing projects from start to finish, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  2. Overseeing construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
  3. Managing project budgets and costs, including change orders.
  4. Communicating with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  5. Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Other Responsibilities:
  1. Developing and maintaining project documentation.
  2. Troubleshooting project issues and finding solutions.
  3. Leading and mentoring project teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:
  1. Strong knowledge of construction methods and techniques.
  2. Proficiency in estimating software and quantity takeoff tools.
  3. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Leadership and Management Skills:
  1. Ability to lead and motivate project teams.
  2. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  3. Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
  1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  3. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

  1. Experience with project management software and tools.
  2. Knowledge of relevant construction regulations and standards
