About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator with strong Project Management capabilities to support concrete-focused preconstruction efforts for K-12, higher education, and municipal building projects. This individual will play a dual role — owning the estimating process from bid to buyout, while also managing select projects through to completion when awarded.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead takeoffs, quantity surveys, and cost analysis for cast-in-place concrete scopes.

Prepare comprehensive estimates, budgets, and proposals for public and private bid opportunities.

Participate in RFI development, value engineering, and subcontractor scope reviews.

Manage preconstruction timelines, deliverables, and internal handoffs to field teams.

Oversee awarded projects in a project management capacity, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.

Build and maintain strong relationships with school districts, municipalities, general contractors, and trade partners.

Attend site walks, pre-bid meetings, and client presentations when necessary.
Qualifications:

5+ years of estimating and/or project management experience in structural concrete or self-perform trades.

Demonstrated experience on educational facilities (K-12, higher ed) and government/public works projects.

Strong understanding of bid process, public procurement, and division 3/structural packages.

Proficient in Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Microsoft Excel, and construction management platforms.

Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and accountability.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field but not required.
