We accelerate three pillars of activities in the environmental area.We have three groups aligned with the three pillars as following:- Business Incubation Group: To maximize profit contribution from environmental activities- Quality ＆ Standardization Group: To raise the standards of environmental activities- Stakeholder Engagement Group: To maximize external stakeholders' perception of environmental contributionThere is a wide range of work required to achieve the mission under the rapidly growing company and Eco-system.Our working environment offers the opportunities to contribute to our company and society.Position:Why We HireWe are looking for people who have a strong interest in synergies between environment and business, and want to create new value in this new area through Rakuten's broad business.Our department is a start up which have established on January 1, 2022. there is a chance to develop your career and hold a management position if you will join us now and make a high performance.Position DetailsIn order to achieve our mission, you will be responsible for creating a company-wide environmental strategy across more than 70 domestic and international businesses, planning measures, promoting their implementation, and developing structures. Liaison and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders will occur.Example of job description- Planning the strategies of the environment.- Creating new environment-related services.- Maximizing the revenue contribution of existing environment-related services.- Definition of environmental footprint/setting up of infrastructure/obtaining third-party assurance and efficient these operations.- Environmental impact assessment of group business and ESG disclosure (CDP/DJSI/FTSE/MSCI etc.).- Creating use cases for environment-related PR.ReferenceWork Environment- approx. 15ppl- Most of members are 20s or 30s.The ratio of experienced and inexperienced environmental industry professionals in the team is about 3:7.Those who have environmental experiences from the environmental consultancies and the environmental departments of manufacturers.Mandatory Qualifications:Mindsets- Strong sense of ownership and a willingness to work on solving social issues in the environmental field from the perspective of an operating company, in line with our mission.- Able to enjoy communicating/collaborating/negotiating with a variety of stakeholders in a varied environment close to management.Skills- Logical thinking based on numbers and facts, and documentation skills to express your thoughts (Microsoft Excel / Powerpoint)- Business level English skillDesired Qualifications:- Experience in quantitative analysis and strategy formulation at consulting firms or operating companies (not necessarily in the environmental field).- Experience in environment-related strategy formulation/project implementation promotion in the e-commerce, financial and mobile industries.Others Information:Additional information on LocationTokyoAdditional information on TransferThere is a possibility of domestic and overseas business travel and relocation.Additional information on English QualificationTOEIC score 800 or above.#corporate #strategyplanning #operationdiv Languages:English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
