Project Manager – Engineering Department

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate engineering projects from initiation through delivery. This position plays a critical role in aligning cross-functional teams to ensure project success in a manufacturing and automation environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, project lifecycle management, and cross-functional collaboration, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from concept development to installation and commissioning
• Coordinate with design engineers, controls engineers, manufacturing teams, and external vendors to ensure project alignment and timely delivery
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring adherence to quality standards and customer requirements
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and customers, providing regular updates on project status
• Utilize project management software and tools to track progress and maintain documentation
• Facilitate design reviews, status meetings, and post-project evaluations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in project management within a manufacturing, industrial automation, or engineering services environment
• Demonstrated expertise in managing custom automation, robotics, or integrated systems projects
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering disciplines
• Excellent skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal departments
• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus
