Project Manager - Electrical System Delivery in EC1
Job Description
The RoleProject Manager role will cover management of complex projects up to $10m with multiple supply chain interfaces external and internal. Projects delivered will contain Medium and Low voltage switchgear solutions and will include other company and 3rd Party Electrification Products including Relays, Automation Systems and solutions, Indoor and outdoor Medium Voltage apparatus and sensors. \n \n Responsibilities \n\nResponsible for achieving the Revenue and Gross Margin budgets on projects with the submission of accurate forecasts.\nProviding all H&S documents and completed drawings/reports in a timely manner\nManaging of projects with multiple interfaces and supply chains – internal and external\nRegularly attend site meetings on site and be based on site for 3-4 days a week during site delivery phase.\nManage variations accordingly with defined process and handle any claims from the customer side\nGather key delivery KPI’s and monitor for continuous improvement\nEnsure lessons learnt feedback to the organization\nEnsure close cooperation with customers and company stakeholders.\nAchievement against set KPI’s for the project delivery scope\nEnsure timely responses to business information and support requests\nAssist with input into contract review process\n Essential Skills\nGreat communication skills\nAbility to work to timescales and deadlines\nAbility to demonstrate a “team” ethic.\nGood at managing supply chain internal and external\nCreative approach to maximizing project efficiencies\nExperience at delivering high levels of customer performance\nA culture of Integrity\nPC literate including MS Office, Excel, Word etc.\n Position Interactions\nCustomer and other 3rd parties involved in project\nCompany Factories and Service teams\nSub suppliers\nOther company divisions involved\n Challenges\nSet, drive and monitor project performance\nManaging multiple interfaces from client side\nVertical team integration (multiple interfaces)\nProject ownership, leadership and coordination\nCompletion of project review documents\nUndertake lessons learnt analysis\nMaintenance of company systems\nTimely response to business information/support requests\n\nWith over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
