We are supporting a leading specialist civil engineering contractor with an established presence in Scotland. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex infrastructure projects from start to finish in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team delivering high-profile works.
As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage stakeholders, and drive operational excellence across the project life cycle.
As the Project Manager your duties will typically include:
Lead and manage all aspects of project delivery, including planning, resource management, and progress monitoring.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
Coordinate design, construction, and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Provide clear reporting and ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
The successful applicant for this role, will be able to demonstrate:
Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering groundworks, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Strong commercial and contractual awareness, including NEC/engineering contracts.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive decision-making.
Familiarity with project management software and reporting tools.
