Job Title: Project Manager\n\nLocation: Field based with travel to multiple sites across Scotland \n\nSalary: Competitive\n\nJob Type: Permanent, Full time\n\nAbout Excalon:\n\nExcalon was founded in 2002 and became part of the Renew Holdings Group in 2024. This is an exciting time to join our business.\n\nAbout The Role:\n\nAs a Project Manager, you will manage a range of major infrastructure projects ensuring safe delivery, on time and within budget, whilst meeting all legislative requirements.

This will require you to plan, manage and evaluate projects throughout their lifecycle and conduct pre-start and post-implementation reviews to embed a culture of continuous improvement.\n\nKey Accountabilities:\n\nAct as the principal site contact point for Excalon clients and ensure that all activities on site are in accordance with statutory requirements and company policy.\nEstablish a strong understanding of our client's requirements and the impact of the success factors of the project. Ensure you can meet the scope with defined completion criteria and build long term relationships with the client.\nProduce accurate and attainable programs of work to be issued to the client for approval. Liaise with the programmers & notice management team to schedule the works and allocate resources.\nEnsure that all necessary contract documentation and reports are accurate and produced on time and are effectively communicated, both internally and externally.\nEnsure the safe systems of work are implemented and that all necessary documentation is in place, complying with the CDM Regulations ensuring compliance with current legislation and specifications concerning operating practices.\nPrepare and issue method statements and risk assessments for into the site safety file.\nTake direct responsibility for Health and Safety of employees, sub-contractors, and visitors on the site.\nEnsure that all project personnel have the appropriate training and competencies for their role.

Work in partnership with the SHEQ and HR team to ensure full competency of project resources.\nAccurately measure, quantify, and order specific material requirements.\nLiaise with the client on technical issues ensuring quality and consistency of installations.\nEnsure all documentation is to the highest of standards, and Project Hangover Files are provided to the Client in an efficient time frame.\nMaximize team performance whilst focusing on a safety-first culture.\nEnsure delivery of all relevant equipment and materials on site as required.\nAccurately mark out routes, section lengths and joint bay positions where relevant, conveying this information to the operational delivery teams\nEnsure excavations comply with health and safety regulations and best practice\nEnsure design criteria is met throughout the project life cycle.\nTo attend pre-start and site meetings as required by Clients and the Business\nTo inform the Contracts Coordinator of any non-conformances within the Project\nWrite site specific RAMS for the project\nUpdate straight line Drawings every week (SLD if required)About you:\n\nEssential Skills, Knowledge & Experience:\n\nNVQ Level 4 (Gold Card)\nSMSTS\nTemporary Works Coordinator\n3-day First Aid\nProficient in the use of Microsoft office suite\nSPEN Contract experienceDesirable Skills, Knowledge & Experience:\n\nExisting Experience as a Project Manager for Infrastructure Projects\nRecognised Project Management Qualification (RICS or APM)\nNVQ Level 6 (Black CSCS)\nNRSWA: Streetworks SupervisorBenefits:\n\nAuto-enrolment pension\nDeath in service 1x salary\nOccupational Health Surveillance\nEmployee Assistance Programme\nFunded Qualifications and Training\nCompany vehicle and fuel cardAdditional Information:\n\nWe respectfully request no agencies at this time.\n\nAll applicants must reside and have the right to live and work in the UK.\n\nPlease click on the APPLY button to send your CV and Cover Letter for this role.\n\nCandidates with the relevant experience or job titles of: Infrastructure Project Manager, Infrastructure Planning, Project Management, Project Administrator, Project Estimator, Project Planning, Project Coordinator, Project Director, Senior Project Lead, Construction Project Manager may all be considered
