Project Manager in DH1

Job Description

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Project Manager for a Civil Engineering Contractor who has secured works on the Northumbrian Water Framework.\nThe contractor are a key specialist in various sectors including: Drainage Design, Structures, Waste Water and Energy.\nDuties as Project Manager:\n * Preparing daily and weekly progress reports, variation reports for the scheme\n * Chairing weekly internal meetings, and client progress meetings\n * Producing monthly reporting in line with contract requirements including commercial reports\n * Dealing with varying contracts including NEC/JCT\n * Developing procurement schedules\n * Maintain documentation for ISO9001/14001 and 18001 systems\nExperience required:\nMust have:\n * Experience working as Project Manager on civil engineering & infrastructure projects.\n * Experience managing projects £5m+ from cradle to grave.\n * Detailed experience with: structures, heavy civils, RC works, deep drainage and water.\n * SMSTS, Temporary Works, Appointed Person, First Aid.\nNice to have:\n * Engineering background, working from Site Engineer to Site Agent and to Project Manager.\n * Degree qualified or HNC/HND qualified within civil engineering.\nRemuneration:\nThe client are looking to pay up to £65,000 (depending on experience) + package for the right candidate.\nThis is a permanent position and Elvet Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.\nFor more information, please contact Jack Vasey at Elvet Recruitment
