Ridgeway & Co are proud to be working with a highly reputable Main Contractor who specialise in cut & carve, heavy structural alterations, and complex refurbishment schemes across both the residential and commercial sectors in London. Known for tackling technically challenging projects, they have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.\n\nThe Role:\nDue to a strong pipeline of projects, they are seeking a Project Manager to oversee structural alteration and refurbishment schemes valued between £5m – £20m. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing programmes, leading site teams, and ensuring the smooth delivery of challenging, high-profile projects.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Oversee the full lifecycle of cut & carve / structural alteration projects.\n\n * \n\n Manage site teams, subcontractors, and specialist packages.\n\n * \n\n Drive programme and sequencing to meet deadlines.\n\n * \n\n Maintain excellent client and stakeholder relationships.\n\n * \n\n Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, RAMS, and CDM regulations.\n\n * \n\n Take ownership of budget control, procurement, and reporting.\n\nAbout You:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor.\n\n * \n\n Strong background in cut & carve / structural alterations / refurbishments.\n\n * \n\n Track record delivering projects in Central London, ideally £5m+.\n\n * \n\n Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\n * \n\n SMSTS, Black CSCS Card and relevant qualifications
