Job Description

Our client, a prominent player in the water industry, is currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager for an exciting contract position. This significant £30m+ pipeline project extends 16km from Oldbury to Meriden, between Nuneaton and Coventry. The project involves the installation of a 1200mm diameter polyethylene pipe, traversing rural areas, the M6, A45, and a section of ancient woodland, over a 2-year build period.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLeading a core team of agents, engineers, foremen, and work teams to ensure successful project delivery\nOverseeing all aspects of safety, commercial, programme, and stakeholder management\nManaging project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation effectively\nEnsuring compliance with industry standards and regulations\nCoordinating with various stakeholders including contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies\nImplementing and managing digital platforms relevant to project execution\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nExperience in civil engineering, specifically within the water industry\nProven leadership abilities in managing large-scale infrastructure projects\nStrong understanding of groundworks, temporary works, and clean water systems\nExperience in working with client and contractor digital platforms\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills\nProficiency in safety and regulatory compliance\nAbility to effectively manage commercial aspects of the project\nStrong organisational and problem-solving skills\n\nContract Details:\n\nOutside IR35\n2-year contract\nIf you are a seasoned Project Manager with significant experience in the water industry and are eager to take on a challenging and rewarding project, we would love to hear from you.
