Shack Built is looking for a creative problem solver with Project Management experience in residential renovation. Come join our experienced team of professionals who individually bring something new to the table and collaboratively create an amazing work environment and client experience.

Shack Built specializes in creating unique living spaces for home and work. Our primary work radius is within Johnson County, including the cities of Overland Park, Leawood, Shawnee, Olathe, and Lenexa. We occasionally take on projects in Kansas City, Missouri as well.

Primary Duties

1. Be a good partner to the team, our trades, and our clients.

2. Maintain schedule, budget, and construction process with use of subcontractors and employees to enhance client expectations & experience.

3. Must have the ability to work individually as well as with a team.

4. Coordinate project schedules with subcontractors, clients and Shack Built team.

5. Must be detailed in your daily job logs for all projects.

6. Must be proficient in managing the sequence of residential construction.

7. Must have general residential construction knowledge.

8. Must have the ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently without assistance.

9. Must have the ability to communicate with others effectively.

10. Must have an extensive background in quality control.

Requirements

1. Minimum 10 years experience in Project Management for mid-to-high end residential remodels.

2. Ability to read and analyze blueprints.

3. Competent with Outlook email & calendar.

4. Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and OneDrive.

5. Competent with Job Tread, Co-Construct or Builder Trend (or similar construction management software).

6. Great organizational and planning skills.

7. Pass Background Check and Driving Record check.
