Position: Heavy Civil Project Manager

Specialization: Subsurface Construction in Difficult Soil and Rock Conditions

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Heavy Civil Project Manager for our public projects. The ideal candidate will have:

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in managing large-scale heavy/civil projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) .
• Technical Expertise:
• Extensive background in civil construction estimating.
• Profound knowledge in geotechnical/soils engineering, including soil stabilization.
• Experience with deep shaft and tunneling earth retention systems.
• Expert in subsurface dewatering methodologies and cost implications.
• Proficient in trenchless, soft, and rock tunneling, including tunnel boring and micro-tunneling methods.
• Knowledge of deep open cut installations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Project management of large heavy/civil projects.
• Preparation of final quantity and price estimates.
• Submission of estimates/bids for government municipalities.
• Negotiation of subcontractor scopes and pricing.

• HCSS HeavyBid and HeavyJob
• Agtek
• Primavera
• Microsoft Office Suite
