Project Manager – High-Tech Fit-Out (Processing Plant)\n\nLocation: Cambridgeshire\n\nContract: Freelance or Permanent\n\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nRate/Salary:\n\n * \n\n Freelance: Up to £500/day\n\n * \n\n Permanent: Up to £80,000 (including performance bonus)\n\nAbout the Project\n\nJoin a major £250M construction management scheme delivering the internal fit-out of an industrial scheme.\n\nThe site is a high-spec, quality-driven environment led by an engineering firm\n\nScope of Works\n\nYou’ll oversee packages including:\n\n * \n\n Flooring & resin\n\n * \n\n Dry lining & ceilings\n\n * \n\n Fire-resistant steel doors\n\n * \n\n Roller shutters & fire curtains\n\n * \n\n Decoration & fire stopping (critical focus)\n\nWho We’re Looking For\n\nA quality-focused Project Manager who thrives in complex, industrial environments. You’ll be hands-on, adaptable, and ready to get stuck in from day one.\n\nMust-haves:\n\n * \n\n Strong in programme management, weekly reporting, sign-offs, and fault inspections\n\n * \n\n Experience managing trades listed above\n\n * Subcontractor or main contractor background.\n\n * \n\n Background in data centres, pharmaceutical, or industrial fit-outs\n\n * \n\n Comfortable working with Tier 1 contractors and demanding clients\n\n * \n\n Familiar with construction management schemes\n\n * \n\n Able to self-deliver simpler packages (dry lining, ceilings, steel doors)\n\nQualifications:\n\n * \n\n SMSTS and First Aid required\n\n * \n\n NEBOSH but not essential\n\nBonus Points\n\n * \n\n Permanent candidates may access future leadership opportunities\n\nInterested?
