A respected, privately owned constructin contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of redevelopment projects that include major façade and building-envelope packages.\nThe company is known for its collaborative culture, repeat client base, and commitment to innovation and building safety.\nThis opportunity is offered on a strictly confidential basis.\n\nMain Purpose\n\n * \n\n Manage all construction activities from pre-start to final handover on complex refurbishment schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\n\n * \n\n Oversee projects that feature significant façade elements, coordinating with specialist contractors and ensuring compliance with all Building Regulations and Golden Thread Gateway 1–3 requirements.\n\n * \n\n Provide strong leadership to site teams, supply chain partners, and client stakeholders.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Take full responsibility for day-to-day management of site operations, programme, and cost control.\n\n * \n\n Develop and maintain robust project programmes, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions when necessary.\n\n * \n\n Lead on Health & Safety, ensuring strict compliance with statutory obligations and company policies.\n\n * \n\n Coordinate closely with the Design Manager, commercial team, and external consultants to ensure buildability and value engineering.\n\n * \n\n Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, and performance, including specialist façade/cladding packages.\n\n * \n\n Chair regular progress meetings and produce accurate, timely reports for senior management and the client.\n\n * \n\n Maintain excellent client relationships and act as the principal point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.\n\n * \n\n Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaborative working.\n\nEssential Skills & Qualifications\n\n * \n\n Proven track record as a Project Manager delivering refurbishment or mixed-use projects that incorporated major façade or cladding packages\n\n * \n\n Good understanding of Golden Thread Gateway 1–3 requirements relating to Building Regulations.\n\n * \n\n Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.\n\n * \n\n Excellent knowledge of construction methods, planning, and sequencing for refurbishment and live-site environments.\n\n * \n\n Thorough understanding of CDM regulations, health and safety legislation, and quality management.\n\n * \n\n SMSTS, CSCS (Manager level), First Aid at Work;\n\n * \n\n IT literacy (MS Project/Primavera or similar, Word, Excel)
