A leading subcontractor specialising in large-scale tiling and natural stone installations is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex commercial and high end residential schemes. With over 20 years of industry expertise and a proven track record on high-profile developments, this is a great opportunity to step into a senior delivery role within a respected and growing interiors contractor.

 

What You’ll Be Doing  

As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of fast-paced tiling and stonework packages, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery across multiple live sites.



Manage day-to-day site activities from pre-start through to handover

Oversee subcontractors and installation teams, ensuring deadlines and standards are met

Liaise with main contractors, clients, and in-house teams to manage progress and resolve issues

Enforce health & safety compliance and ensure all site documentation is maintained

Track programme updates, variations, and commercial changes

Coordinate materials, logistics, and team resources for smooth delivery About You

You’ll bring proven experience delivering fit-out or interior subcontract packages, ideally within tiling, stonework, flooring, or drylining. You’ll also be a confident communicator and natural leader.



Background in managing interior subcontractor packages on commercial or residential projects

SMSTS and CSCS qualifications essential

Strong understanding of stone, tiling, or other finishes installation

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Able to read technical drawings and oversee works to specification

Commercially aware and proactive in identifying project risks and opportunities

Confident managing teams, subcontractors, and client relationships About the Company
