Electrical Project Manager

Position Summary

The Electrical Project Manager leads assigned commercial electrical construction projects from initial planning through final closeout. The role is responsible for financial performance, scheduling, procurement, contract administration, team coordination, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and procurement strategies.

  • Coordinate project engineers, field supervisors, vendors, and subcontractors.

  • Monitor project cost, labor performance, cash flow, and financial forecasts.

  • Manage RFIs, submittals, purchasing, billing, and project documentation.

  • Identify scope changes and prepare pricing for additional work.

  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical requirements.

  • Maintain communication with clients, general contractors, and design teams.

  • Support testing, commissioning, punch-list completion, and closeout.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of electrical construction project management experience within a Data Center setting. 

  • Commercial or mixed-use construction experience .

  • Strong understanding of electrical power systems and construction methods.

  • Knowledge of scheduling, bidding, takeoffs, contracts, and change management.

  • Construction Management or Electrical Engineering degree .

  • Journeyman or Master Electrician credentials are beneficial.

Working Conditions

Regular office and project site attendance is required. Local travel throughout the Bay Area should be expected.
