Project Manager - Business Readiness** (Contract)\n\nDuration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)\n\nLocation: Warwick/Hybrid (2 days on site)\n\nRate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates\n\nRole Overview\n\nWe are seeking a highly organised and experienced Transition Project Manager / Business Readiness lead to support the planning, coordination, and execution of business readiness transition activities required to implement the new Monarch SCADA system. This role will work closely with the Cutover and Transition Lead and other key stakeholders to ensure a smooth and risk-managed transition to the target state.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nEnd-to-End Readiness Planning:Develop and manage the readiness plan, including pre and post Cutover and transition planning activities, ensuring alignment with programme timelines and interdependencies.\nOperational Readiness Coordination:Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness, including business units, IT change management, and support functions.\nBusiness Process Implementation:Oversee the implementation of new business processes and ways of working associated with the Monarch SCADA system, ensuring effective integration and transition into daily operations (BAU).\nRisk Management:Identify and communicate risks related to Transition and Cutover activities, driving status updates and managing issue resolution.\nMonitoring and Reporting:Provide regular updates to programme governance forums on the status of user adoption, operational readiness activities, and change management processes, including any identified risks or issues that require escalation.\nPost-Implementation Reviews:Conduct post-implementation reviews after each event to capture lessons learned and track and maintain issue logs through to resolution.\nBusiness Continuity Exercises:Plan and conduct business continuity exercises to ensure that all operational teams are prepared for the transition and can effectively respond to potential disruptions. \n\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n\nProven experiencein project managing complex IT pr ects and transitions.\nExperience with business readiness activities for enterprise digitalisation IT or ERP programmes.\nStrong understanding of project and change management principles.\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple workstreams to create and manage detailed plans.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.\nAbility to work under pressure and lead through ambiguity and tight deadlines.\nFamiliarity with project tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, or similar.\nPMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
