Project Manager | Battle Creek, MI

Salary Range: $84,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize manufacturing projects on time and within budget.

• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for project execution in a production environment.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, implementing effective control measures.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across engineering, production, and supply chain teams.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and status reports.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production lifecycle.
• Proven experience with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, Waterfall).
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Experience in stakeholder management, including cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Technical aptitude or an engineering background relevant to manufacturing operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or PLM software
• Experience with manufacturing quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)
• Familiarity with industrial automation and Industry 4.0 concepts
