SKILLS REQUIRED
Well versed in Excel and all Microsoft Office Programs
Proficient in Adobe/Bluebeam or equal (PDF Editor Ability)
Construction knowledge or experience required
Engineering experience a plus (not required)
Microsoft Sharepoint experience a plus (not required, will train)
Procore experience a plus (not required, will train)
Knowledge of social media
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Solid multi-tasking and relationship-building skills
Decision making and leadership capabilities
Ability to work alone or in group setting with little to no direction
Ability to adapt to environment

High School or Equivalent Education required

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Assistant to construction project manager. In this supporting role responsibilities include but are not limited to data entry, prepare RFIs/track responses, prepare/track submittals, procure material, contract administration, purchase orders, change orders, assemble O and M manuals, maintain electronic documentation of the project, prepare job specific safety plan and AHA with PM assistance. Communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, foremen and PM on a regular basis. Assemble weekly reports and photos with the assistance of the superintendent to send out to clients on Fridays. Attend and actively participate in project coordination owner / contractor / architect /engineer meetings as necessary. Preparation of change requests to resolve design issues for approval by project manager, mild estimating, sales etc.
Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work well under pressure with good oral and written communication skills. Able to proficiently use computer programs (Word, Excel, Adobe, BlueBeam, etc.). Must be able to read and interpret contract documents, shop drawings, and contracts. Must have a positive attitude and be willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Basic knowledge of construction work. Able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Honest, dependable, drug-free. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
