We are currently seeking a full-time Project Estimator & Design Consultant to join our team. This is a year-round, stable position with consistent leads and strong earning potential for the right candidate.

Position Overview


This role is ideal for someone with construction or refinishing experience who enjoys working directly with homeowners. You will visit scheduled appointments, assess flooring and cabinet projects, provide on-the-spot estimates, and guide customers through their renovation options. You will also assist with light project coordination to ensure jobs stay organized and on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Attend scheduled in-home appointments with residential customers

  • Evaluate cabinet and flooring projects and prepare accurate, written estimates

  • Present services and pricing in a professional, consultative manner

  • Negotiate and close projects while maintaining a positive customer experience

  • Perform follow-up calls with customers as needed

  • Coordinate closely with the Office Administrator and Owners

  • Help meet and exceed monthly sales goals

  • Assist with job coordination, scheduling, and task delegation

  • Help keep projects on schedule and organized

  • Provide hands-on assistance with:

    • Woodworking

    • Painting

    • Cabinet and floor refinishing

    • Residential construction tasks as needed

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Previous experience as a Project Estimator, Construction Manager, Wood Refinisher, or similar role

  • Hands-on experience in woodworking, painting, flooring, cabinets, or residential construction

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • High attention to detail (this is a must)

  • Ability to create and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • High energy, friendly, and professional demeanor

  • Ability to tailor the customer experience to individual homeowners

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Valid drivers license, insurance, and reliable vehicle

  • Clean driving record within the past three years

  • Availability MondayFriday, 7:00am5:00pm, with occasional weekends as needed

  • High school diploma or equivalent ()

  • Ability to work across multiple locations as required
