Job Description

Join a dynamic team in Cologne at the forefront of fine art logistics, delivering bespoke transport solutions for galleries, artists, collectors, and art fairs worldwide. This exciting role offers the opportunity to manage high-value art transport projects across and international markets.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage quotation and order processing for fine art transport projects, both and international
• Organise and coordinate complex transport operations including packaging, customs, and insurance
• Liaise with clients to ensure smooth project delivery from start to finish
• Plan and schedule courier trips related to fine art logistics
• Implement and manage framework agreements and contractual terms
• Conduct post-project calculations and manage cost control
• Oversee accurate invoice creation and service billing
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and transport standards
• Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after each project
• Collaborate with international partners, agents, and service providers
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure operational efficiency
• Maintain clear, professional communication in both German and English

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in freight forwarding or logistics, preferably within fine art transport
• Alternatively, relevant background in galleries, museums, or auction houses
• Strong understanding of transport planning and customs clearance
• Excellent organisational and coordination skills
• Professional and confident communication with clients and stakeholders
