Parkerville Wood Products is a premier architectural millwork company known for its craftsmanship, precision, and service. We provide premium hardwoods, softwoods, cabinetry, mouldings, and custom millwork for both commercial and residential clients — including contractors, builders, architects, and homeowners.
Position Overview
We’re seeking a Skilled Project Manager to oversee both simple and complex projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and highly professional, with exceptional communication skills and a strong understanding of woodworking and construction methods.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage a variety of projects — from small custom jobs to large-scale commercial build-outs — from start to finish
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and prints
- Perform accurate take-offs and stock billing
- Source, price, and purchase materials efficiently
- Assist in developing cost estimates for woodworking and related trade jobs
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution
- Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Apply knowledge of woodworking terminology, materials, and fabrication techniques
- Utilize Microsoft Office and other project management tools proficiently
- Uphold Parkerville’s reputation for exceptional ethics, quality, craftsmanship, and client satisfaction
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in millwork, construction, or related trades
- Strong knowledge of pricing, costing, and material procurement
- A flair for design and an eye for craftsmanship are a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
