Project Manager, (Architect) - Iconic Architecture Practice
Job Description
The client is a world-class team of architects and designers based in London requiring a project manager. The role will focus on projects across APAC and the Middle East – experience is these regions is not essential. They are particularly interested in speaking with architects looking to transition into a project management role.
The PM will play a leadership role in collaboration with both the design and technical leads to oversee projects from inception to completion. This is a non-design role, acting as the primary point of contact with clients & ensuring the protection & delivery of design intent throughout.
You’ll be working across all aspects of the business — from new business & finance to HR, commercial strategy, and operations. The role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of project performance, & the confidence to manage both the rewarding and challenging moments of client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work with core team leaders to lead and manage projects across the Middle East
- Review and manage resources, ensuring projects are properly staffed with the right teams
- Oversee project scope, timelines, and delivery
- Manage budgets and ensure cost control
- Lead client-facing communication, protecting design integrity and acting as a key representative
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to develop, measure, and manage individual and team performance goals
- Coordinate with business-wide functions including Finance and HR
Required Experience:
- Qualified Architect (ARB/RIBA) or Part II
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects across all RIBA stages
- Experience with bids, tenders, and overseeing critical design phases
- Experience managing teams and leading external consultant coordination
- Familiarity with key project metrics and deliverables, including timelines and budgets
