And we’re looking for passionate, driven people who want to be part of it. ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY As the Project Manager, you will own overall administration and technical direction to single or multiple projects, including advanced manufacturing projects.  You will act as a liaison with prime client contacts, establish project objectives and policies; and enforce company and project policies. You will monitors construction and financial activities to ensure that the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. You’ll be trusted as a leader, mentoring Project Engineers and supporting Senior Project Managers and Project Superintendents.YOUR DAY-TO-DAY Project Leadership

  • Lead construction activities, including scope routing, sequencing, and management.
  • Ensure design review processes are completed prior to construction starts.
  • Ensure trade partners understand full scope.
  • Mentor Project Engineers and ensure good team health.

Problem-Solving

  • Address and resolve constraints/roadblocks related to FA system-specific and global project issues.
  • Facilitate design assistance, RFIs, and manage change events with consideration of added costs.
  • Be innovative with resources and schedule to deliver scope safely, and with highest quality, within budget.

Supplier and Team Management

  • Coordinate with Hookup Team and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Manage relationships with trades and ensure tasks are executed in a timely manner.
  • Manage stress in a high-pressure environment, maintaining professionalism and focus.
  • Demonstrate the ability to stay composed and make sound decisions under stress, benefiting both self and team.

 Quality Assurance

  • Oversee QAQC procedures, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Manage submittals and ensure trades use up-to-date information.
  • Advanced system installation literacy
  • Demonstrate command and control of system installation plans, specifications, and manuals.
  • Manage and updatesinstallation documents, ensuring all team members have access to the latest information.

Coordination and Communication

  • Assist and document functional area meetings with the Module Team.
  • Coordinate project-specific area activities, ensuring a strong field presence.
  • Facilitate morning huddles and daily hook-up operation meetings.

Construction Management

  • Takes full responsibility for managing the procurement process for materials. Assist in tracking Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Support in removing constraints and roadblocks specific to system installation.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain daily updates and manage individual project schedules.
  • Generate schedule reports and weekly reports for FA/EE Meetings.

Safety Management

  • Support safety management efforts by ensuring daily safety observations are documented and reported.

     

YOU’RE READY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE  

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of related experience working on advanced manufacturing or commercial construction projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of established construction and maintenance practices, procedures, and techniques as well as applicable local, state, and federal building codes. 
  • Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and tools and proficiency in skilled construction, maintenance, and repair tasks. 
  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control. 
  • Strong communication skills; thorough and attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and deadline oriented. 
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization. 
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, memos, blueprints, contract document specifications, construction drawings, and CPM schedules. 
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. 
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 
  • Ability to reason complex situations and make appropriate decisions and recommendations. 
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Autodesk, Navisworks, MS Project). 
  • Ability to maintain the utmost level of integrity in all relationships and situations. 
  • Possess strong computer skills, Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, OST, and Prolog.
