A rapidly expanding general contractor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects across the U.S. This full-time, in-office role based in the Colorado Springs / Monument, CO area is ideal for a detail-oriented leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering projects on time and within budget.
Project scopes include ground-up builds and remodels across fuel centers, big-box retail, grocery, entertainment venues, and specialty commercial markets. As Project Manager, you’ll drive the entire lifecycle of assigned projects—from estimating support through closeout—ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction throughout.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of commercial construction projects across various markets

Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, scopes, and resource allocation

Coordinate subcontractor and vendor buyouts, contracts, and deliverables

Collaborate with superintendents and field staff to ensure project milestones and quality standards are achieved

Facilitate ongoing communication between clients, design teams, field personnel, and internal departments

Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards at all phases of construction

Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation

Participate in preconstruction activities including budgeting and bid strategy support
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field ()

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Assistant PM in commercial construction

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, schedules, and specifications

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

Effective communicator and team collaborator—both in the office and with field staff

Experience in fuel, grocery, or retail construction is a plus
-
Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite
