The Project Manager III plays a crucial role in the SSR Survey department, overseeing the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage resources effectively to achieve project goals. The successful candidate will work closely with the SSR Survey Manager (Africa) and the S&P Project Management Lead (EMEAA) to ensure the smooth execution of projects and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Survey practice or equivalent skills.
- 3-5 years of experience managing survey projects is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerBI. Ability to learn and navigate in Oracle Fusion, AutoCAD, and CRM software.
- Valid passport and ability to obtain visas for international travel.
- BS in Geomatics, Engineering, or a related discipline is .
- Familiarity with offshore operational activities.
- Industry-approved Project Management Certification (PMP or equivalent) is desirable.
- Ability to determine customer needs, establish project priorities, and plan/organise work.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on keeping team members informed.
- Set up and monitor project budgets, providing revenue and cost advice, and engaging in forecasting.
- Develop and maintain resource-loaded project schedules with detailed work breakdown structures.
- Manage assigned projects and teams, planning operations, and supervising on-site personnel.
- Liaise daily on projects and systems to identify and address any issues or delays.
- Assist customers in preparing design ideas and specifications, and provide technical advice.
- Conduct presentations and support sales and marketing activities.
- Coordinate with Operations and Sales leads to develop bids and proposals.
- Review and approve quality plans, technical procedures, and project invoices.
- Prepare project reports, forecasts, and technical/financial documents for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and Quality Management Systems, and local regulations.
