Purpose
The primary responsibility of this position is to lead and manage single or multiple offshore projects in line with the requirements of the Contract ,to ensure that goals or objectives of project are safely accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters and the customer receives a quality product or service which meets or exceeds all of the customer requirements.
REQUIRED
-
BS in Engineering or related discipline
-
Minimum one (5) years related experience in a similar position
-
Must hold/maintain a valid passport and be able to obtain visas for international travel
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-
Ability to learn and navigate in Oracle or similar enterprise management software, AutoCAD®, SolidWorks, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

This position is considered OFFICE WORK, which is characterized as follows:

Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night.

To develop and maintain constructive working relationships with the Client Project Manager (s) and other key Client stakeholders

To support the Baku Program manager in the safe delivery of the work program the agreed commercial outcome.

Work with the relevant functional leaders to develop the OPG staff capability within the Project team
-
To promote OPG technology and actively seek out CLIENT opportunities for the wider Oceaneering group
HSE
-
Conduct regular visits to onshore and offshore worksites, and provide direction, coaching and feedback to the team
Leadership
-
Provide guidance and support to the Project team to ensure the project HSE, quality, technical, and financial, requirements defined in the Contract are achieved
Scope Management
-
Utilising the core OPG Project management processes to ensure delivery of HSE, technical and quality standards in line with the CLIENT contract requirements
-
Act as the integrator and owner of the Project developing, implementing and maintaining systems to track and actively manage the equipment, documentation and personnel required to safely execute the work offshore.

To implement an effective project planning and progress measurement system

To implement an effective project reporting system

Support, direct and coordinate the engineering, supply chain and other functional personnel who are accountable for the execution of each element of the work, in support of safe execution of the work program

Accountable for the detailed Project readiness to execute, and
-
confirmation that the execution procedures, drawings, readiness reviews, SIMOPS reviews and permits are in place and agreed with CLIENT in a timeframe which supports the offshore execution program.

coordinate the efforts of the Service Excellence personnel in the verification of system readiness, configurations, specifications, and certifications.

Accountable for the day-to-day management and the safe execution of the Project work program
Cost and Commercial

Develop a detailed understanding of the CLIENT contracts, the OPG and CLIENT obligations and deliverables, and work closely with wider OPG team to ensure that all project objectives, schedule, deliverables, and milestones are met.

Proactive identification and communication within the project team of technical and/or vessel execution issues which may have a cost or schedule impact.
Responsible for the Project budget and spend, and the provision of accurate data which to allow accurate forecasting and reporting in line with the Client and Oceaneering requirements, including the preparation of project reports, forecasts, Overview
