Project Manager (Electrical) Manchester, UK Full-time Salary DOE About the Role A rapidly expanding technical services company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Enterprise Services division. The role focuses on end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to client specifications. The position involves leading multidisciplinary teams, managing financial and commercial aspects, and maintaining excellent client relationships. The Project Manager will oversee all operational aspects of assigned projects from bid stage through to practical completion, including Health & Safety, technical, commercial, and managerial responsibilities. The role requires proactive leadership to ensure project success, maintain or improve profitability, and deliver high-quality service to clients. Key Responsibilities Provide visible Health & Safety leadership, ensuring safety is prioritised across all project activities. Ensure compliance with company policies, internal procedures, and relevant legislation. Lead and motivate the project delivery team, developing team potential and individual capabilities. Contribute to bid preparation and work with the business development function to secure new opportunities. Prepare and maintain project business plans and budgets, monitoring profitability and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation. Provide accurate reporting and input to monthly project reviews, keeping senior management informed of progress and financial status. Manage all project activities to achieve objectives within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality standards. Maintain strong client relationships to optimise future business opportunities. Ensure design and installation meet internal and client specifications, statutory requirements, and industry standards. Technical Skills & Qualifications Degree-level qualification or equivalent industry experience (10 years). Valid driving licence. Project management certification such as APM, PRINCE2, or PMP . Industry accreditations (e.g., RCDD, CTPM) advantageous. Manufacturer-specific accreditations (e.g., Systimax, Corning, Panduit) desirable. Health & Safety certification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely) or equivalent. Experience with multidisciplinary building systems. Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and presentation tools. Knowledge of testing procedures, methodologies, and IP networking equipment. Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills. Ability to manage heavy workloads, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced environments.
