Lombardi Electric, Inc., a leading commercial and industrial electrical contractor based in Bloomingdale, Illinois, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. Since 1995, we have proudly served the Chicagoland and surrounding area, delivering innovative electrical solutions with a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. As a Project Manager, you will oversee multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the high standards that define Lombardi Electric’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including materials, budgeting, and production, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.
• Manage the business and financial components of multiple concurrent electrical projects, meeting financial targets while upholding Lombardi Electric’s established quality standards.
• Collaborate with customers and project teams to identify and process scope changes, resolve issues, and communicate effectively regarding project milestones and updates.
• Foster and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and uphold our commitment to exceptional service.
• Utilize estimating software, such as Accubid, proficiently to prepare change order pricing
• Manage project-related documentation, including correspondence, through designated document management systems.
• Prepare and perform material requisitions, submittal compilations, purchase orders, on-site job walk-throughs, change order requests, requests for information (RFIs), and project close-out documents.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members, clients, and stakeholders effectively.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment to meet project goals.
• Multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume work setting while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Exhibit exceptional organizational skills and leadership to drive project success.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in project management within the electrical construction industry.
• Demonstrated success in leading projects to completion on time and within budget.
• Proficiency with estimating change orders and document management systems.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of OSHA 10 and NFPA 70E standards is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or a related field , though equivalent experience will be considered.
